A very serious look

I’m Brian Wilkins, a web and user interface designer from Boston, Massachusetts. I have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design with a concentration in web design, from the University of Massachusetts. I’ve worked with some great clients over the years. A partial list includes Mercedes-Benz®, Kodak, Staples, Entrepreneur Magazine, CBS Radio, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Electric Visual, and FedEx®.

During the day I work as a Senior Designer at Vistaprint, where I design, write front-end markup, and polish pixels for the world-wide web. At night and on the weekends, you’ll probably find me out and about, with either my Canon DSLR or an iPhone (sometimes both) in-hand, exploring and learning about this pretty amazing place we call Earth.

skills

I design primarily using a combination of sketching, wire framing and Photoshop. I write front-end markup using Coda with XHTML, CSS, a little JavaScript, and a lot of usability, accessibility, and web standards.
